How to use the theory book

Reading alone rarely passes the test. Combine the book with active practice: read a chapter, then work through the matching questions to see what actually stuck.

  • Read a chapter and note the terms you are unsure of.
  • Practise the questions for that topic until you get them right from memory.
  • Test yourself under realistic conditions to see where you stand.
  • Review your weakest topics and repeat.
Good to know: The official rules are set by Statens vegvesen. This book is a study aid, not the official regulations — always check vegvesen.no for the current requirements.
